Privacy Policy
Short version: Chaldea collects the information needed to run the site, manage access, process payments, and provide digital astrology software. We do not sell personal information.

Who operates Chaldea
Chaldea is operated by Heliacal, Inc. and built by Nimble9. Privacy questions, support requests, or deletion requests can be sent to hello@chaldea.ai.
Information we collect
We may collect information you provide directly, including your email address, account details, support messages, waitlist submissions, chart data, birth data, saved sessions, prompts, notes, and conversation content needed to provide the service.
We may also collect technical information such as device/browser metadata, approximate location derived from IP address, log data, usage events, and error reports used for security, reliability, analytics, and product improvement.
Payment information
When paid checkout is enabled, payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor. Chaldea does not store full card numbers on its servers. We may receive limited billing information such as your name, email, subscription status, payment status, tax information, transaction identifiers, and the last four digits or brand of a payment method when needed for support, accounting, fraud prevention, and subscription management.
How we use information
We use collected information to provide chart calculation, astrological analysis, AI conversations, account access, subscription billing, customer support, product reliability, security monitoring, abuse prevention, launch updates, and product improvement.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not publish your chart data, birth data, saved sessions, or conversation content without your action or consent.
Third-party providers
Chaldea may use service providers for hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring, AI processing, and payments. These providers receive only the information needed to perform their services and are expected to protect it appropriately.
Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, and operational safeguards intended to protect customer data. No internet service is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and respond to security issues responsibly.
Retention and deletion
We keep information as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal/accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. You can request deletion of your account or personal data by emailing hello@chaldea.ai.
Children
Chaldea is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy as the product, legal requirements, or payment flows change. The effective date above shows when this page was last updated.
